During COVID, I was contacted by the agency Confabulare about a project they were organizing. They had gathered a group of Italian writers who wanted to release their new books on Wattpad, publishing one chapter per week. Each chapter would be accompanied by an illustration and a video featuring a reading of the text, which would be posted on YouTube. For Alice resta a casa by Manlio Castagna and Marco Ponti, I was chosen as the illustrator. The book had 40 chapters, and I created an illustration for each one in my chosen style and technique. These illustrations were first published on Wattpad, and later, the book was released by Mondadori
the illustrations weren't included in the published book but they did thank me in the thanks section.
I decided to chose the main moment of each chapter and represent it. The book was destined for young adults, so I chose to do a cartoony like style.
I was promised a trip to Sicily for the free work i did but i never got it.
