Following the Video Editing course, we were tasked with developing a video project. We were given complete creative freedom to choose both the theme and the technique used, allowing for a highly personalized and exploratory approach.
A completely open brief is a curse. Please, never do that to me again.
The chosen approach is frame-by-frame animation. This one-minute animation tells the story of a consuming love that leads to self-erasure and total sacrifice. It follows the journey of a ballerina from childhood to adulthood, exploring her ambition and the complex interplay between love and passion.
more than 700 hand-drawn frames and one month of work to get only 26/30. I complained, my grade remained the same. If anyone wants hand-drawn animations, I'm your girl...if you treat me well.
